DESCRIPTION:MLL2 Complex is a complex catalyzing the transcription-activating methylation of histone H3 lysine-4 and comprising a catalytic, SET domain-containing subunit, MLL2, plus the subunits of an activity-enhancing sub-complex—WDR5, RbBP5, Ash2L and DPY-30 (2 copies). MLL2 expression is elevated in breast and colon cancer cell lines and in both breast and colon tumor tissue, suggesting that MLL2 Complex may represent a therapeutic target for these cancers and possibly solid tumors in general.
