DESCRIPTION:
Human recombinant PB1-1 bromodomain expressed as an N-terminal GST-fusion protein in E.coli. PB1, a chromatin targeting component of the PBAF chromatin-remodeling complex, comprises six tandem bromodomains. Mutations in PB1, including PB1-1 occur frequently in renal cancers. Among the acetylated lysines of histone N-terminal tails, PB1-1 binds preferentially to H3K14aC. Crystal structures of PB1-1, both in complex with H3K14Ac peptide and isolation have been determined.
